Africa's youth population is rapidly increasing, with over 830 million predicted by 2050. However, unemployment continues to be a major problem in Africa. In my personal experience looking for a job, I reached out to over 1,100 connections on LinkedIn in January 2021 before landing a role. CodeAfrika offers affordable and exceptional training to young developers as well empower them to build Innovative solutions that will create more job opportunities. CodeAfrika has a developer community of more than 700 developers from 6 African countries to nurture technical talent through collaborative learning and hands-on projects. We also seek to unlock developers’ potentials to build innovative software solutions that can create more job opportunities and drive transformation. So far we delivered 7 online trainings, served 6 clients in the digital transformation space and worked with 10 educational institutions in Kenya.
